The New Glarus Caring for Kids organization started in 2012 thanks to a generous donation from an area couple. New Glarus Caring for Kids is dedicated to supporting children in the New Glarus School District. We support various programs designed to help children succeed, including Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, the Food for Kids backpack program, Knight School after-school tutoring, parenting classes, support for school-based mental health, and academic and social behavior coaching.

Caring for Kids is led by an all-volunteer board of directors with deep ties to the New Glarus community.
